GSE to Launch Academy, Investment Readiness Programme to Deepen Market Literacy

The General Manager in charge of Strategy and International Relations at the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE), Diana Okine, has announced plans to establish an academy offering structured training programmes for various players in the investment space.

Speaking at the 2026 “Ring the Bell” Ceremony for the National Investment Quiz in Accra, Diana Okine explained that the initiative forms part of the exchange’s broader effort to deepen financial literacy and inclusion.

We’re also building on this foundation with the upcoming GSE Academy, which will offer structured programmes for the investing public, boards, and senior executives across and beyond the capital markets,” she stated.

Diana Okine also revealed that the exchange will launch the Academy alongside an investment readiness programme designed to help SMEs and large corporates become investment-ready and attract the right capital to scale.

Once established, the Academy will join a growing suite of GSE initiatives aimed at improving market awareness, including investor training tours, capital market quizzes, stock pitch competitions, and the GSE Capital Market Debate.

The Ghana Stock Exchange was established to provide an efficient securities market supporting national economic development through access to capital and investment.
