The stage is set for the final of the 2026 National Investment Quiz.
The competition, organised by the Young Investors Network in collaboration with the Ghana Stock Exchange and the Central Securities Depository, aims to educate young people and the wider Ghanaian populace on financial literacy, equipping them with investment knowledge.
Eight schools booked their semi-final slots after a closely contested quarter-final stage on Monday, with the two semi-final contests taking place yesterday at the R.S. Amegashie Auditorium, University of Ghana.
The first semi-final contest, between Prempeh College, Corpus Christi School, St. Louis Senior High School, and St. John’s Grammar School, saw Prempeh College and Corpus Christi School advance to the grand finale with 44 and 31 points respectively. St. Louis Senior High School and St. John’s Grammar School bowed out of the competition with 28 and 18 points respectively.

Prempeh College returns to the final stage for the third time in four years, after missing out last year, and will be hoping to clinch a second trophy since they last won in 2023.
Corpus Christi School also makes history as the first-ever private school to reach the final of the competition since its inception in 2016.
The second semi-final contest saw defending champions St. Augustine’s College and Mfantsipim School advance, with 51 and 45 points respectively with Wesley Girls’ High School and West Africa Senior High School also bowing out with 30 and 34 points respectively.

Defending champions St. Augustine’s College, who topped both the quarter-final and semi-final rounds, will be hoping to secure back-to-back final wins to become not only the first school to win the trophy back-to-back, but to also join Accra Academy as the only schools with two titles.
Mfantsipim School will also be making its first-ever appearance in the final of the competition.
The final will see Prempeh College, Corpus Christi School, St. Augustine’s College, and Mfantsipim School battle it out for the 2026 National Investment Quiz trophy at the R.S. Amegashie Auditorium, University of Ghana Business School, on Friday at 10 a.m.
