The Management of the Kessben Group of Companies has announced the passing of its President, Founder, and Chief Executive Officer, Lawyer Stephen Boateng, popularly known as Kwabena Kesse or Kessben.
In a statement released on Thursday, August 20, 2026, Management of the group explained the Founder of the Kessben Group of Companies passed away in Kumasi on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, after a short period of illness.
The Group extended its condolences to his family, and urged the public to respect the privacy and solemnity of the family during this period of loss and grief.
It added that further details regarding official dates for the one-week observation and final funeral rites will be announced once they become available adding that a book of condolence will be opened at his residence in Denyame, Kumasi, from 9 a.m. on August 21, 2026.
Lawyer Stephen Boateng was an astute businessman who founded the Kessben Group of Companies, which comprises: Kessben Media, Kessben Travel and Tours Limited, Fosuah Hotel Limited, Kessben Driving School Limited, Kessben Shipping and Freight Forwarding Limited, Aseda Clinic Limited, Transit World Limited, Aseda Insurance Brokerage Limited, and Kessben University College.
